Unconference: Open Weights, Open Agents

Unconference on open-weight models, agent orchestration, and open AI stacks.

The “Unconference: Open Weights, Open Agents” will take place on September 24, 2026 at deepset in Berlin. The event is aimed at AI and agent engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, product managers, tech leads, founders, and decision-makers working with agentic AI systems and open models.

The focus is on how to build and control open agent stacks end to end. Topics include agent orchestration, structured data in agentic systems, tool selection, benchmarking for tabular models, and the trade-offs between open-weight and closed models. The event is powered by Haystack, the open-source AI orchestration framework, and Prior Labs, creators of TabPFN, an open-weight foundation model for tabular data.

The event follows an unconference format: discussion topics are shaped by the interests and questions submitted by participants during registration. After a short introduction, attendees join topic-based discussion groups, followed by time for exchange and networking.
