Autonomous Vehicles at Freie Universität Berlin develops application-oriented AI for mobile robotics and autonomous driving. The group researches machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, object detection, localisation, and behavioural and motion planning using cameras and LiDAR sensors. The methods are tested in autonomous vehicles and mobile robots to improve perception, trajectory planning and cooperative behaviour in dynamic traffic environments.
