SAB 2026 – 18th International Conference on the Simulation of Adaptive Behavior
International conference on adaptive behavior, robotics, and intelligent artificial systems.
The 18th International Conference on the Simulation of Adaptive Behavior (SAB 2026) will take place in Berlin from October 19–22, 2026. The interdisciplinary conference brings together researchers from computer science, artificial intelligence, artificial life, robotics, neuroscience, ethology, evolutionary biology, and related fields.
The conference focuses on models and mechanisms of adaptive behavior in both natural and artificial systems. It explores how biological organisms and synthetic agents adapt to uncertain environments, using approaches ranging from robotics and computer simulations to mathematical models and artificial agent architectures.
The program includes talks, workshops, poster sessions, and networking. SAB 2026 is part of the international ISAB conference series “From Animals to Animats”, hosted by TU Berlin and organized by TUB/CO GmbH in cooperation with Science of Intelligence (SCIoI) and the Robotics and Biology Lab at TU Berlin.
