Ideathon: Between Ambition and Bureaucratic Barriers – Shaping AI Entrepreneurship in Germany
Ideathon on better conditions for AI entrepreneurship, scaling, and innovation in Germany.
The “Between Ambition and Bureaucratic Barriers – Shaping AI Entrepreneurship in Germany” Ideathon will take place on November 26, 2026 at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) in Berlin. As the first Ideathon of the Forum. Venturing Futures., it brings together AI founders and experts from politics and public administration, business, and academia.
The event explores what kind of framework is needed for AI entrepreneurship to succeed and scale in Germany. Participants will examine practical challenges including administrative procedures, international talent, public procurement, access to data, and funding structures, with the aim of developing new approaches rather than simply adjusting individual processes.
The role of the public sector is also part of the discussion, connecting entrepreneurial thinking with public-sector structures and developing concrete ideas for better conditions for AI innovation. The workshop will be held in German.
