Digital Health Cocktail Hour: When Clinicians Build – Showcase and Open Floor
Digital health event showcasing physician- and researcher-led innovations from Charité, with project presentations, a founders' panel, and networking across the healthcare innovation ecosystem.
How can challenges encountered in everyday clinical practice become scalable healthcare solutions? The Digital Health Cocktail Hour: When Clinicians Build – Showcase and Open Floor brings together clinicians, researchers, founders, investors, and healthcare innovators to explore the development of new digital health technologies.
At the center of the event are five projects from the BIH Digital Health Accelerator at Charité, developed by teams of physicians and researchers. The showcases cover extended reality therapy for phantom limb pain, AI-assisted cancer treatment decisions, regulatory intelligence for cell therapies, digital support for post-intensive care recovery, and more efficient interpretation of blood cancer diagnostics. Each team will present its work in five minutes and share unresolved questions around clinical data, product development, and implementation.
A founders' panel will explore the realities of building healthcare companies, from identifying clinical needs and navigating regulatory challenges to entering the market and developing sustainable business models. During the open-floor session, participants can engage directly with the presenting teams, exchange expertise, and explore potential collaborations.
