BLISS AI Speaker Series: Algorithmic Geometry of Flexible Cognition in Brains and AI – Ida Momennejad

Research talk by Microsoft Principal Researcher Ida Momennejad exploring the algorithmic geometry of flexible cognition in biological brains and artificial intelligence, followed by networking with Berlin's AI research community.

How can computational approaches help us understand flexible cognition in both biological brains and artificial intelligence? As part of the BLISS AI Speaker Series, Ida Momennejad, Principal Researcher at Microsoft, will present her talk “Algorithmic Geometry of Flexible Cognition in Brains and AI” at Technische Universität Berlin.

The approximately 45-minute presentation explores a research topic at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and machine learning, focusing on the algorithmic foundations of flexible cognition. The event offers an opportunity to engage with current AI research and exchange ideas with researchers and practitioners from Berlin's machine learning community.

Organized by BLISS Berlin e. V., the event is part of its winter 2026/2027 speaker series, featuring researchers from leading institutions including Google DeepMind, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Imperial College London. Following the talk, participants can continue discussions and connect with fellow AI enthusiasts over complimentary drinks and pizza.
