BLISS AI Speaker Series: Agentic Web: Opportunities and Challenges – Nenad Tomasev

Research talk by Google DeepMind Senior Staff Researcher Nenad Tomasev exploring the opportunities and challenges of the Agentic Web, followed by networking with Berlin's AI and machine learning community.

What opportunities and challenges arise as artificial intelligence evolves towards increasingly autonomous agents operating across the web? As part of the BLISS AI Speaker Series, Nenad Tomasev, Senior Staff Researcher at Google DeepMind, will present his talk “Agentic Web: Opportunities and Challenges” at Technische Universität Berlin.

The approximately 45-minute presentation explores the emerging concept of the Agentic Web, where AI agents could take on more active roles in interacting with digital environments and carrying out tasks. The topic raises questions about the possibilities, limitations, and challenges of increasingly agent-driven digital systems, offering a perspective on an evolving area of AI research.

Organized by BLISS Berlin e. V., the event is part of its winter 2026/2027 speaker series, featuring researchers from institutions including Google DeepMind, Anthropic, the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, Imperial College London, Microsoft, and UCL. Following the presentation, participants can discuss research questions, exchange ideas, and connect with fellow AI enthusiasts over complimentary drinks and pizza.
