AI4Science

Technical evening on AI for scientific discovery, from generative models for molecules and materials to closing the loop between prediction and experiment.

AI4Science brings together ML researchers, applied scientists, and engineers working on the use of artificial intelligence across the scientific process. The event explores how AI is changing the loop from hypothesis generation and simulation to experimentation and validation.

The evening focuses on topics including generative and foundation models for molecules and materials, connecting computational predictions with experiments, and the gap between strong benchmark results and findings that hold up in real scientific settings. Technical talks will address both successful approaches and concrete failure modes, followed by time for peer exchange and deeper discussion. Speakers and the detailed agenda are still to be announced.
