AI Safety & Society Exhibition
Interactive exhibition exploring AI risks, possible social futures, and how the public can influence the development and governance of increasingly capable AI systems.
The AI Safety & Society Exhibition translates questions around AI safety and societal impact into artworks, interactive installations, hands-on experiments, VR experiences, and accessible explainers. Designed for visitors without a technical background, the exhibition explores what current AI systems can already do, where they can fail, and how mistakes, misuse, or insufficient oversight can lead to harm.
The exhibition is structured around three central questions: Where are the risks? What futures are possible? How can we have a say? Alongside concrete examples of AI failure modes and risk reduction, it looks at how increasingly capable AI could reshape work, politics, and everyday life and asks who gets to influence these developments.
The first showing takes place during EAGx Berlin from November 13 to 15 in a dedicated exhibition space within the conference. Visitors who are not attending EAGx can contact the organizers to ask about access. From November 19, the exhibition moves to the Foresight Institute Berlin Node, opening with an evening of artist talks and roundtables before remaining on view for an extended run.
