AI Monday Berlin@IFA: Human-Centered AI for the Home of Tomorrow will take place on September 7, 2026 at the Palais am Funkturm during IFA Berlin. The event explores how artificial intelligence can shape the home of the future, from supporting independent living and healthy aging to improving energy efficiency and creating new opportunities for Europe’s housing and technology sectors.

The session focuses on how AI-enabled living environments can be designed in a trustworthy, interoperable, and human-centered way and successfully integrated into everyday life. Experts from research, housing, industry, and startups will discuss technological opportunities and the conditions needed for intelligent living spaces. Among the speakers is Prof. Dr. Charmayne Mary Lee Hughes from TU Berlin and T’ena Health Technologies, presenting perspectives on age-appropriate human-machine systems, human-centered AI, wearable sensors, and remote monitoring.

Following the talks and audience Q&A, participants are invited to continue the conversation during networking. AI Monday Berlin is an initiative by ai.berlin, AI Nation, and DFKI. Registered participants will also receive a complimentary IFA ticket for the day of the event.
