AI Governance and Audit Nomos

Discussion and lecture event on AI governance, automated decision-making, and the influence of digital technologies on public spaces and social structures.

“AI Governance and Audit Nomos” examines how Physical AI, smart-city digital twins, and automated administrative systems influence the organization and governance of shared environments. The event explores how these technologies can affect access, mobility, visibility, and opportunities to challenge automated decisions.

Bringing together critical spatial theory, artistic research, and civic auditing, the discussion considers how automated systems interact with existing social and institutional structures. Three contributions address the relationship between spatial governance and peacebuilding, the computational interpretation of democratic concepts, and speculative approaches to rules and space.

Organized by Eternal Terra Ear (ÉTÈ Institute) in cooperation with Berlin Science Week and ICI Berlin, the event offers an interdisciplinary perspective on the societal implications of AI-enabled infrastructure.
