AI, Disinformation, and Digital Power
Discussion on how AI-driven disinformation, synthetic media, and algorithmic information spaces are reshaping political power, security, and democratic public spheres.
Artificial intelligence is changing the political and security structures of modern societies. “AI, Disinformation, and Digital Power” examines how automated disinformation, synthetic media, and algorithmically controlled information spaces increasingly blur the boundaries between information, manipulation, and control.
The discussion explores how AI can create new forms of political power and what these developments mean for democratic public spheres, security, and societal order. The event brings together perspectives from political science, public policy, disinformation research, and politics.
The event is part of the series “AI, Power, and Societal Control – Between Freedom, Security, and Inequality” during Berlin Science Week.
