The DATEXIS, Data Science and Text-based Information Systems Research Group at Berliner Hochschule für Technik researches fundamental methods for the automated analysis of text-based and multimodal data. It develops machine learning, natural language processing and language modelling methods for information extraction, text classification and linking text with other data types. The methods are used for applications including medical knowledge discovery and decision support as well as data-driven applications in companies.
