The Data Analytics Center (DANA) at the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS develops application-oriented AI and analytics methods for large, distributed and continuously arriving datasets. The center combines machine learning, generative, neuro-symbolic and semantic AI with knowledge graphs, real-time data processing, edge intelligence and federated learning. Its methods support organisations in knowledge discovery, decision support, process improvement and the development of secure and regulatory-compliant data applications.
