The Charité Lab for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (CLAIM) at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin develops and evaluates application-oriented AI models for medical decision-making. It researches machine learning, deep learning, self-supervised learning, segmentation of three-dimensional medical images, and methods for assessing the trustworthiness of real-world AI systems. The models are tested in realistic scenarios and are intended to support healthcare professionals in personalised decisions and improve diagnosis, treatment and patient outcomes.
